Modules for selection and payment and their functionality

Most customers who are just starting their journey in vending believe that a vending machine is a completely ready-made solution that can be filled with goods and placed in the planned place. As a manufacturer of vending and payment equipment we will reveal more about this issue and share our 20-year experience in the production of vending and payment machines.

So, the machines themselves are devices for dispensing goods. Their shape, dispensing system, dimensions, etc. are their characteristics, which are selected for a specific type of product.

For example, AXON modules with a dispensary dispensing system are more suitable for small types of goods that have packaging: cigarettes, vapes, medical masks, disinfectants, plasters, playing cards, etc.

For larger goods that need to be highlighted and decorated: flowers, soft toys, gold jewelry, expensive gadgets, premium cosmetic sets, etc. - Link Glass or CRYSTAL devices are suitable. These machines provide a separate shelf for each product.

For water bottles, drinks, prepackaged salads, chocolate or protein bars and more, the QUBE Lift is ideal. This device can not only store a large amount of goods on the shelf, but also with the help of an elevator system, it will dispense the goods without damaging them.

Importantly, the machine itself is responsible for the storage and delivery of goods. Each of the many types of vending equipment requires a built-in, overhead or stand-alone payment module.

The payment module is a set of boards and microcircuits connected through the main computer to the vending machine. In fact, this is a specific system unit that combines everything necessary to receive a signal from the user and transmit a dispensing signal to the machine itself.

The payment module can work from the keyboard, which is archaic, or from the touch monitor, which is more modern. The monitor provides an opportunity not only to purchase more comfortably, but also to get acquainted with the product. In addition, the presence of a monitor provides an opportunity for additional earnings - to broadcast promotional videos with advertising, which ensures a quick payback of the devices. The device can be equipped with both wired and wireless communication, which is important for outdoor installation or when wired communication is unstable. The calculation system itself is chosen according to the wishes of the customer. It can be a contactless payment, a bill acceptor, a coin acceptor, a reader of cards or QR codes, as well as a printer of fiscal checks and others. The manufacturer itself, Ingenico, PAX, Verifone or others, is already a matter of software. Having produced more than 25,000 devices, we can say for sure that our company can implement almost anything.

AXON machines do not just have a built-in payment module, it itself is an integral part of the machine, as its components are spread over the machine itself to save space.

For other devices, we have developed a separate TOUCH line, which is divided into TOUCH S, TOUCH M, TOUCH 10 and TOUCH 19. TOUCH S and TOUCH M are overhead modules, the main advantage of which is a sufficiently compact size and installation directly on the device. Their design includes all the necessary automation and a 10-inch monitor. With such compact dimensions, the device has certain limitations regarding the possible addition of payment systems, and therefore only the contactless payment module is most often used.

TOUCH 10 and TOUCH 19 are free-standing devices with a height of 1080 mm, 2060 mm or any other. If necessary, it can be easily adjusted to the design of the sales apparatus. Such modules also have all the necessary automation for 10'' and 19'' monitors, respectively. The full dimensions of the modules do not limit them in the additional equipment of payment systems, a printer for fiscal checks, additional power supplies, heating or cooling systems.

It is important to understand your needs regarding the future vending machine or system of machines combined in a smartshop or cafe. It is important to select a payment module with additional equipment that is necessary in your particular case.

The advantage of our payment terminals among many others, both built-in and TOUCH series, is the ability to combine an almost unlimited number of vending machines into one ecosystem. That is, one TOUCH 19 can easily work with 2 QUBE Lift, 3 Link Glass and 1 CRISTAL, although the number of machines can be different, which will allow different types of goods to be sold through one sorting and selection system. For the consumer, this is primarily convenient: he can choose goods from different devices, and the multi-purchase function allows you to pay for goods in one transaction.
