Question: What, in your opinion, are the promising niches in the vending market in Ukraine?
Today, vending reminds me very much of the transition from carriages to diesel cars or, in the future, to electric cars; from books to digital media (tablets, laptops or phones); from bills to cards and NFC readers. Society, in my opinion, always follows the path of evolution, development and facilitation of all its processes. Both business processes and life processes that help them in their daily life. And vending, in our case smart vending, is an opportunity to sell, provide services, anything, anywhere and anytime. Restrictions can only be local laws that are mandatory. And they are changing and opening up new opportunities, both today and in the future. And it is important to follow.
We must follow the trends and understand the potential directions of vending, which already exist and are developing strongly in the USA, Europe, as well as in the countries of the developed East: China, Japan, South Korea.
These markets are saturated and understand their demand, but still continue to develop: consume a lot and implement new projects with vending machines. Today, Ukraine already has many prospects for the development of this direction, and in the future, with the accession to the EU, it will have even more of them.
Currently, there is no limit to which you can climb in the direction of vending in Ukraine. So, next I will consider very obvious, in my opinion, promising areas of vending, which should be paid attention to by a potential owner of a vending business.

Sale of food products or individual food brands.
These can be machines selling mono products, complex meals, various snacks, sweets, popcorn, semi-finished products with the possibility of cooking: sandwiches, pizza, etc. Where? At gas stations, shopping centers, sports halls, airports, hotels, cinemas, etc.
For the owner, vending machines provide sales 24/7, and for the consumer - convenience, the ability to get any product at any time of the day. It does not matter whether the store is open or full of people - products are always available to the consumer: easily, quickly and conveniently. Is there some kind of pandemic today that prevents him from communicating with people or perhaps he himself is in a state that is not acceptable for dialogue - a purchase through a vending machine is an ideal solution for such a consumer.

Gifts: flowers, toys, jewelry, etc., can be a common and simple way to cheer up or congratulate someone. It's as simple as giving the child a soft toy or some possible branded toy from the company, like Lego or Fortnight, something like that, which will be in the device.
Passing by such a machine, a person has the opportunity to make an emotional purchase for the soul quickly and simply, and give it to his child, who may be in a bad mood at the moment or is eagerly waiting for his parents at home.
Flowers are now available through flower machines or lockers anywhere: gas stations, shopping centers, etc. Accordingly, no matter where you are, you can get the product right now and in that place.

Medicine is a very promising direction for vending.n particular, pharmacies are an opportunity to provide a person with access to medical drugs or necessary drugs that do not require a prescription. Of course, there are limitations that we respect. For example, some medicines should be sold only by prescription. But there are a lot of things in the pharmacy that we can give a person the opportunity to buy right now. That is, in the evening or at night, a person can go to his pharmacy, which is not open 24 hours a day, but has a vending machine on the street and can quickly buy hydrogen peroxide, bandages, plasters, eye drops or medicine to relieve fever or cough.
Advantages for the pharmacy: no costs for electricity, for the staff who will be there, for security, for the operation of the cash register, etc. Such possibilities open up, in my opinion, many prospects for pharmacies and the medical field. .

Sale of cigarettes or vapeCurrently, this direction is ambiguous for Ukraine. Because the law prohibits the sale of these goods through a vending machine. But since we are moving towards the EU, it is possible that these things will be available in Ukraine soon.

Delivery points are one of the most promising niches. It will be relevant for online stores. Vending machines manufactured by АVANGARD can be used as a point of product delivery, not a direct sales machine.
How does it work: with an online store or an application on the phone, the consumer places an order, pays and receives a QR code. Next, he raises the QR code for reading, the corresponding cell opens and the customer receives his order. Simple, fast and convenient. And for business - cost optimization.
In addition, such devices - lockers, will be relevant for such companies as Ukrposhta, Nova poshta, MeestExpress, or other delivery services or delivery points of large online stores. That is, after placing an order, the consumer can receive the order at any convenient time, without queues, without interaction with the seller.

Food systems, systems for cooking or heating some products: sandwiches, pizza, popcorn. This is a very popular destination. Eastern countries are simply revolutionaries in this, even hot soups are prepared there. This is a huge asset for amusement parks, or open parks where people walk and can get food here and now, not just a snack bar, but a full nutritious meal. That is, such devices can do anything, this is not a problem for the technologies we have today.
You can combine different types of devices into one autonomous smart store. Smartshops are the quintessence of vending.
Being at a gas station, in a shopping center, at a self-service car wash, you can simply create an endless smartshop, which will contain products that you think will be in demand among your customers: food products, car accessories, liquid for washing windows, gifts, etc. The consumer can from one payment terminal to buy any products he needs, very quickly and conveniently.
These are the main directions that I see today. They will continue to grow and expand more and more. Vending machines are, first of all, an opportunity to work 24/7. Yes, today we are limited in time, namely to move at night. But it will pass when our Victory comes. And you should be ready.
That is why I believe that vending is the evolution of trade, trade service.
